1/11/2021- Today the Lego Township Fire Department District 27 took delivery of 2 new Command Vehicles District Chief 2700 got a brand new 2021 Chevrolet 2500HD and our Hazmat Chief 2750 received a 2021 Ford f-450 Super Duty Utility Body. Both trucks have been put into service.

12/9/16-At 1630 hours Station 275 and Engines 2711, and 2716 were dispatched to Lego BLVD. Was shut down due to a motor vehicle accident evolving hazardous materials. Both drivers have been checked for a pulse and has been confirmed a DOA. Fatal forensics will be out when the scene is secured to investigate call was dispatched at 1630hrs

5/8/16- Sunday Morning Crews Welcomed Back station 6. Station 6 was the original fire house that started the department in 1932 since then it has gone through some changes and is not modernized. Previously the station was shut down due to funding but with a recent budget increase the district has decided to open it back up. engine 2713 now serves as engine 2761. the building closed in 1993 was made into a museum where it housed the original 2761. More info soon to come.
4/8/16- On friday afternoon 2715 and 2722 were dispatched to the police station for an automatic fire alarm around the same time engine 2713 was dispatched to a car fire uptown. Also 2722 and 2713 were updated.
2/26/16 The LTFD crews took pictures of all the trucks and rigs. Also Established a new Fire Station 274 that will be stationed at the amusement park
11/27/2015 The Lego Township Fire Department took part in training with the Lego Township Volunteer Fire Department on ladder training, also station 271 trucks were re-striped to a green stripe.
6/6/14 At around lunch time the fire company was dispatched to a multi-vehicle MVA with victims trapped the crew of 2719 did a great job extricating 2 occupants one with a complaint of chest pains accident was caused by two intoxicated drivers who suffered a few scrapes. Lego township PD took the drivers into custody and were lodged into the township jail the crash is still under investigation.
2/22/14- At around 5pm Taskforce 27 was dispatched to a MVA (motor vehicle accident) into a building. Upon response Chief 2700 saw a column of black smoke and placed all companies in service and called in for crash 2726 out of station 2. With all companies in service the police had the road shutdown and all commuters were diverted around the scene.
12/26/13- Around 12:30pm Taskforce 27 was dispatched to a fully involved house fire. Upon Chief 2700 arrival he placed all companies in service. Before the crews made entry the large tree in the front yard fell on to the house taking out the roof crews removed the tree made entry and rescued all the occupants.
12/25/13- Around 1:30am District 27 was dispatched to a Motor Vehicle accident into a building. There were several minor injuries and one serious who was transported to the local hospital.
12/18/13-Today Santa came around with the LFD Crew today saying hello to all the residents in district 27. Santa was out with crews for a few hours and then we transported him back to the North Pole.
